Tester guide

JPG Test is the full Job Profit Guard app on a separate test server. Nothing you do in it touches real customers or real money, so try everything, and try to break it.

Installing it

Tap Download JPG Test, then open the file when it finishes.
If your phone asks, allow your browser to install unknown apps.
Tap Install. If Google Play Protect says it doesn't recognise the app, tap More details → Install anyway.

It shows up as JPG Test with a blue icon. The real Job Profit Guard app, if you have it, stays installed.

Your own account

Every tester gets their own account, just like a real customer would. It's free on the test server, and every feature is switched on. You'll need the tester code from whoever invited you. You enter it once, right after making your account.

Use made-up customers and numbers. This is a test server, and we may clear it between test rounds. No sign-in code is emailed in JPG Test: your email and password are enough. When the test round ends, JPG Test closes and points you to the official app.

Known issues

Play Protect may warn about the app when you install it. That's normal outside Google Play.
If the camera or photo picker won't open, close the app completely and open it again.
Voice recordings stay on the phone that made them. The words are saved, but the audio is gone if you uninstall.
Frank, and the voice and receipt reading, can take several seconds.

Found something? Report it

In the app, go to Account → Report a problem. Crew: the Account tab. Tell us:

what you were doing,
what you expected, and
what happened instead.

Add a screenshot if you can. Your phone, app version and last few screens are added for you. If the app won't open at all, email support@jobprofitguard.app with your phone model and Android version.
